Privacy notice

1. Who is responsible

Silver Obelisk T/A CRK Maintenance, at Unit 41 Le Touessrok, Ramsgate, KwaZulu-Natal, 4185, is responsible for this connector. Privacy enquiries may be sent to roy@crkmaintenance.co.za.

2. Information accessed

The connector is designed for read-only access to:

• Company information
• Customers and suppliers
• Invoices and payments
• Expenses and accounts
• Financial reports

It is not designed to create, edit, delete, email, void or pay QuickBooks transactions.

3. Why the information is used

Information is used for CRK's internal accounting review, reconciliation, operational reporting and authorised administrative checks. It is not sold or used for unrelated advertising.

4. Security and access

Connection credentials are stored encrypted. Access to connection controls is restricted to the authorised CRK administrator. OAuth requests use expiring, one-time state verification, and sensitive token values are never shown in the browser.

5. Sharing

QuickBooks information is not intentionally disclosed to third parties except service providers needed to host and secure the connector, or when disclosure is legally required. Those providers receive only the access necessary to provide their service.

6. Retention and disconnection

OAuth tokens are retained only while the QuickBooks connection is active. Disconnecting revokes the Intuit connection and removes stored access and refresh tokens from active use. Minimal security events may be retained to evidence connection and disconnection activity.

7. Your choices

An authorised CRK administrator may disconnect or reconnect the QuickBooks company at any time. Questions, correction requests or deletion enquiries may be directed to roy@crkmaintenance.co.za.

8. Changes

This notice may be updated when the connector, applicable requirements or CRK's processing practices change. The effective date above will be updated accordingly.
